March 15 Primaries Predictions

GOP:

 

*Florida – Donald Trump will win the Sunshine state by a comfortable margin. Marco Rubio will immediately announce he will drop out once Florida is called for Trump

*North Carolina – Trump will win North Carolina as most polls show  him leading

*Illinois – Trump will win Illinois. Canceling Friday’s rally in Chicago will help him with voters who support law and order. Illinois is also a open primary state which will help Trump

*Missouri – Missouri could be very close. The state’s demographics are similar to Iowa and Kansas and Rick Santorum won that state 4 years ago which benefits Ted Cruz. But Missouri is also a open primary state which benefits Trump. I think Trump will end up winning Missouri by a close margin.

*Ohio – Ohio is the real battleground on Tuesday. Recent polls show a dead heat between Ohio Governor John Kasich and Donald Trump. Kasich is popular in that state but Trump has recently doubled down on his attacks on Kasich and Trump’s recent debate performance has helped him surge in the polls into a dead heat. The Ohio race could likely be the closest on Tuesday and I have no idea who will win in the end. But if Donald Trump wins Ohio, then John Kasich will drop out and Trump will likely become the presumptive GOP nominee. But if Kasich wins in his home state, then the race continues as he will stay in the race.

 

Democrat:

 

*Florida & North Carolina- Like all southern states, Hillary Clinton will win both Florida & North Carolina by a landslide due to black voters.

*Illinois – Recent polls show a dead heat between Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders. Hillary will likely win Chicago with the black voters but Sanders could sweep the rest of the state outside Chicago and this state is a Open Primary which helps Sanders. Race is too close to call to make a prediction.

*Missouri – Recent polls also show a tie. There are a lot of far-left liberal Democrats in that state and this state is also a open primary which help Sanders. Hillary could win due to the black vote but this state is just too close to call.

*Ohio – Recent polls show a very tight race but I think Hillary will win inn the end by a close margin due to the black vote.
