Wisconsin Primary Reactions

Tonight was not surprise even though I thought there will be one. Wisconsin could of potentially voted for a Brokered Convention. Ted Cruz once again over-performed winning by a comfortable margin. But, Trump still managed to walk away with several delegates. There are several factors why Donald Trump lost Wisconsin, a blue collar state that he should of won. First, last week, Trump was assaulted by the media last week with vicious and false attacks on him. Second, Marco Rubio’s former supporters likely went over to Ted Cruz. Finally, Reince Priebus’, Scott Walker’s and Paul Ryan’s Establishment political machine likely bused in voters into the polls. Tonight was a victory for the GOP Establishment who support a brokered convention and support Wisconsin Rep. Paul Ryan as the nominee. But there is a bright spot for Donald Trump. Trump will likely win his home state of New York in 2 weeks by a landslide due to Ted Cruz attacking New York values. Trump will likely win most or all of the states on April 26. I do not see a pathway for Ted Cruz to get the nomination and he could be working for the Establishment to stop Trump from getting the nomination. Ted Cruz’s momentum will be very short and Trump will make a comeback in the next couple of weeks. I don’t think Cruz will win any states until May.

Meanwhile, on the Democrat side, Hillary Clinton had another tough night with another loss. Bernie Sanders won Wisconsin due to it’s demographics and it’s progressive history.  Unlike Ted Cruz, Sanders will have a huge momentum heading into New York and he is definitely scaring the Democrat Establishment and Hillary Clinton. If Sanders manages to win New York, then the Democrat Party is in huge trouble!
